GameBytes began as a small project under Searchabar.co, a creative search engine experiment built to explore new ideas on the web. When Searchabar.co eventually shut down, its creator decided it was time for a new direction — one focused not on search technology, but on imagination and play.

What followed was a complete transformation. The original project, CoreBytes, was reimagined, rebuilt, and reborn as FunBytes — a studio dedicated to crafting simple, joyful, and accessible games. Instead of indexing the internet, the mission shifted to building digital worlds, playful mechanics, and experiences that make people smile.
